Sun Country becomes approved supplier to Honda Aircraft Company

June 2011 l   Sun Country Industries is pleased to announce that it has been named an approved production supplier to the Honda Aircraft Company.  Sun Country has been awarded numerous components of the HondaJet - including the cockpit control column - under a 7 year production contract. The HondaJet is an advanced, lightweight, business jet featuring an extra large cabin, high fuel efficiency, and high cruise speed compared to existing small business jets.  Sun Country is proud to have passed Honda’s legendary quality audit process and is gearing up for production.

Dwane Lane appointed Vice President of Operations

January 2011 | Sun Country Industries is pleased to announce that Dwane Lane has accepted the position of Vice President of Operations for the company.  Dwane has extensive experience in manufacturing management and production control and has served Sun Country as Vice President of Finance since 2006.  Dwane’s manufacturing experience together with his familiarity with our products, processes, customers, and suppliers are the ideal tools for success in his new position.

Richard Ogorek named Manufacturing Supervisor

January 2011 | Sun Country Industries is pleased to announce that Richard Ogorek has accepted the position of Manufacturing Supervisor for the company.  Richard has over 25 years of experience in aerospace machining and served in similar supervisory capacities for other companies before joining Sun Country.  Richard has been a senior machinist for Sun Country for the past fifteen years and has an in-depth knowledge of the parts we manufacture, our machines, quality processes, and personnel.
