Lee has more than thirty-five years of experience in aerospace manufacturing for domestic and international markets. His experience includes over seventeen years at Sun Country Industries as well as many years in key management positions with several other aerospace-related manufacturing and trade organizations. During his career, Lee has had direct functional responsibility for every aspect of aerospace manufacturing including machining, purchasing, supply chain management, contract administration, sales and marketing and general management. He has a proven track record in conducting business with the United Sates government and aerospace prime contractors including Bell Helicopter, Boeing, GE Aviation, General Dynamics, GKN, Rolls-Royce, SNECMA and many others. His experience and industry knowledge enable him to quickly assess opportunities and challenges and arrive at solutions that support the unique nature of aerospace customer requirements: quality without question, just-in-time delivery and continuous cost reduction. Lee has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is a Six-Sigma Black Belt.

Dwane has more than thirty years of manufacturing experience and has held various key positions at plant and corporate levels in a variety of industries. Dwane brings an analytical orientation to his position. This approach drives a philosophy of metrics, objective decision-making and accountability throughout the organization. He believes in building cross-functional teams to address both immediate issues and continuous improvement activities. He enjoys the challenges that any manufacturing facility experiences, and utilizes everyone's talents to drive success. Dwane has degrees in Biology and Business Administration (Accounting) from North Texas State University. He also attended the executive program at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.


Vice President of Quality Assurance

Joe has more than 25 years of manufacturing experience in aerospace and related industries. He served two years of active military duty and an additional eight years in the New Mexico U.S. Army and Air National Guard. Joe studied Civil Engineering at Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute and the University of New Mexico while completing his apprenticeship in sheet metal fabrication. Joe’s work history has included key positions in aerospace quality management since 1986. During this time Joe developed and maintained company quality management systems, including the ISO 9001-2008 and AS9100, for several major aerospace contractors in New Mexico. He has attained NADCAP certifications required by major aerospace prime customers. In more than fifteen years with Sun Country Industries, Joe has been instrumental in building an organization that emphasizes quality in every step of the manufacturing process.


Materials Manager

Ruben has twenty-five years of experience in the aerospace industry, primarily in supply chain management. He has a diverse background in manufacturing, having served as a production manager and production supervisor. A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Ruben is known as a take-action person able to initiate and make tough decisions while leading and building a cohesive unit of diverse people. His ongoing success in the industry has been built on confidence, competence and his loyalty as team player willing to act when people, projects and profits require leadership, management and growth.


Manufacturing Supervisor

Richard started working in the machining trades in 1979 and has been involved in aerospace manufacturing since 1984. He learned the trade in an apprenticeship program and completed his journeyman certificate in 1984. In addition to working as a journeyman machinist, Richard has served in many leadership roles, from shop foreman to machine shop manager, at a variety of different manufacturing and machining companies. Richard has been with Sun Country Industries since 1995.
